Jest to podziękowanie za przygotowanie obszernego opracowania dotyczącego sytuacji rodzin i duszpasterstwa rodzin w Polsce, przekazanego Dykasterii w odpowiedzi na międzynarodową ankietę.

Przyjmujemy ten list jako wyraz uznania dla pracy całego środowiska duszpasterstwa rodzin w Polsce – Rady ds. Rodziny Konferencji Episkopatu Polski, Krajowego Ośrodka Duszpasterstwa Rodzin oraz wszystkich diecezjalnych duszpasterzy rodzin, doradców życia rodzinnego, małżeństw i świeckich współpracowników, którzy włączyli się w przygotowanie tego opracowania. To podziękowanie należy do całej wspólnoty osób zaangażowanych w troskę o małżeństwo i rodzinę.

 

Your Excellency,
I wish to express my sincere thanks for the contribution that your Episcopal Conference has kindly provided in response to the Dicastery’s request regarding the
situation of the family and family pastoral care in the context of the country.
The material sent constitutes a valuable contribution, not only because of the abundance of data and observations gathered, but also because it shows the pastoral care
with which the particular Churches today accompany families amidst cultural, social and economic changes that are often rapid and complex. I have greatly appreciated the care with which the various aspects outlined in the letter have been addressed, ranging from the stability of family life to marital crises, from economic conditions to the transmission of the faith, right through to the experiences and good practices developed at local level.
I am particularly grateful for the effort in gathering data that will enable the Dicastery to continue, with greater awareness, its work of listening, discernment and
reflection, serving the Church’s mission in the areas of marriage, family and life.
While renewing my gratitude for your fraternal collaboration, I assure you of my prayers for the Episcopal Conference and the families entrusted to your care.
